Taji and Elijah: photos and readings

Each item fills one blank in the panel and circuit register. Photos and meter readings only. Nobody opens a panel. Tap the circle when an item is sent.

Where it goes: text each photo or reading to Greg, starting with the item number, for example "2" and the photo. Why texting: the admin facilities page has no file upload, and the fleet file drop needs a login staff do not have.

Panel directory cards

Photos only. Open the panel door, never the dead-front (the metal cover around the breaker handles). Do not touch tape or handles. No panel has a written schedule yet, so these photos are the schedule.

Your 10/1 AC-to-breaker results, plus lounge AV and LED wall

Taji · list or photo

For each of the rooftop ACs (Victor counted 7, chat.db 937758, secondhand): the AC (room it cools) and the breaker number and panel that turned it off. A photo of your notes works.

AlsoSame test, two more: which breaker kills the lounge TV and speakers (the one the rain tripped), and which breaker or breakers feed the LED wall. Write panel and number for each.

WhyfactRain tripped the lounge TV and speakers breaker (chat.db 936762; faults F-01, F-04). factTaji asked Farzad for the LED wall breaker routing on 9/16 (chat.db 940199).

Buzz readings

Meter and wall switches only. Lights on and off at the room switches. Nobody opens a panel or flips a breaker for these. Hold both probes by the insulated grips, fingers behind the guards; never touch metal with the other hand. Meter on AC volts (V~), probes in the meter's COM and V jacks.

14

Neutral-to-ground volts, 3 orange outlets, lights on and off

Elijah · six numbers

Multimeter on AC volts. One probe in the neutral slot, one in the round ground hole. Write the number. Repeat with the studio lights off. Do it at three orange outlets and name each outlet (room and wall).

N H G

N = neutral, the taller slot. G = ground, the round hole. Leave H (hot, the shorter slot) alone for this reading.

SafetyHold both probes by the insulated grips, fingers behind the guards; never touch metal with the other hand. Meter on AC volts (V~), probes in the meter's COM and V jacks.

Last time30 to 60 V, floating, on every orange outlet tested (1/22 and 8/3). Near zero would mean the ground path is there (inference).

FillsThe ground-path question on the electrician one-pager. No register field exists for outlets yet.

SourcefactNeutral to ground floating 30 to 60 V; open ground on every IG outlet (elijah-electrical-history.md:85, :88).

AC volts between the GX and the Trident chassis

Elijah · one number, twice

Multimeter on AC volts. One probe on a bare metal screw on the GX4816 back panel, one on a bare screw on the Trident chassis. Write the number with lights on, then lights off. Leave everything plugged in and running.

FillsThe room-to-room ground difference on the electrician one-pager. No register field exists for this yet.

SourceinferenceDiagnosis rev 2 (moderate): a mains voltage difference between the mix-room and mic-closet grounds; next test is "meter AC volts GX chassis vs Trident chassis" (buzz analysis memory, 9/25, lines 17 and 23).

Swap Catapult output 2 and output 1 at the GX

Elijah · before and after

At the GX4816, swap the two XLRs from the mic-closet Catapult: output 2 into GX input 1, output 1 into GX input 2. Listen on channel 2 before and after. Text one line: the buzz followed the GX input, or it stayed with the Catapult line. Then swap back. A phone video of each is ideal.

What it meansBuzz follows the GX input: the Allen and Heath side. Stays with the line: the Catapult side (inference).

FillsThe isolation plan on the electrician one-pager. No register field exists for this yet.

SourcefactBuzz needs the XLR from mic-closet Catapult out 2 into GX input 2 (buzz analysis memory, 9/25, line 13). inference"Decisive next test" (same memory, line 23).
